The CPSA,  and the sponsors look forward to welcoming you for the return of the English Open Sporting this year from 14th - 18th May! This guide will tell you everything that you need to know to get the most out of the event.

Looking Ahead

This year the event is being held at High Lodge from Wednesday 14th - Sunday 18th May 2025

Before you book on, please make sure your ²ÝÝ®ÃÍÁÏmembership is up-to-date!

Entries to book onto this event open at 8pm on 3rd February 2025 via this link  Once you have booked on you will receive an email confirmation and within that is a link to all our terms and conditions, including the refund policy.

 

The Competition

The English Open Sporting is held each year, usually in the month of May. It is a 120 target event shot over 15 layouts. All shooters will start on stand one, working their way round to stand 15.

This is a great event for anyone who may be just starting out on their competitive careers.

The format for this competition is simple - the best score wins, there will be no six-man Super Final. You can shoot any day but if your score is the highest you will walk away with the High Gun Trophy. If the need for any shoot offs arises, this will be done before any prize giving on Sunday 18th May.

Any winners of sponsored prizes must be present at the prize giving, otherwise they will be forfeited.
